It is the year of 2023, many of our babes out there had already planned something in their mind to be better and most of all to stay beautiful and attractive. Above all of the things that they had already work on to achieve there is one thing that might be hard to accomplish. That one thing is to lose a bit of weight and stay in shape ! yes ! this is far most the top thing that must be accomplished by any babes.

It is totally a white lie when someone especially a girl or a woman tells you that they don't want to stay in shape and to lose some extra belly weight that they carried all those past years. I mean, who doesn't want to stay in shape ? 

You are on your way to get in shape and lose some weight, you went to the gym had your all kinds of diet but nothing seems to be working. Maybe there's a little bit of changes but the next few weeks you found out that you gain a little bit more than your current weight. Whoaaa, what is this ! you'd tried everything right ? then you will start to blame everything including a supplements or slimming products that you had. It is a depressing moment and heartbreaking too.

I mean who doesn't like french fries ? but have you ever consider how many calories in french fries that will add up to your body weight ? Even a small serving of french fries from popular fast food outlets contains between 200 and 340 calories on average. Of those calories, there is usually between 8 and 17 grams of fat, with around 1.5 to 3.5 grams of saturated fat for a small fries serving. That fat will surely stick to you body and becomes hard to be expelled because it is a trans fat. The same goes to potato chips like 'Pringles', 'Mr Potato', 'Lays' etc. they contain as much as 536 calories per serving ! so please, you know better girl. Eat less of it or fully avoid it to stay in shape !

2. Sugary Drinks

Sugary drinks ? like a can of Coca-Cola ? 100 plus ? you name it ! yes it is right those canned sodas are full of sugars and you know, you should avoid it but wait, maybe i should just drink... Mamak ! Milo Ais satu !!. Kak, Teh O' Ais Limau satu ! Every day most of Malaysian consumed average of 2-8 grams of sugar. Believe it or not, even your normal 'Teh O contains average of 2 gram or sugar. Sugar=calories and excessive calories=weight gain. Next time you had your lunch or dinner in kedai Tom Yam or Mamak just order that plain and healthy 'Air Suam'.

It is early in the morning, maybe I should get 2 slices of those white and fluffy bread to go with butter and strawberry jam. Hmmmm that will be nice isn't it ? But wait ! I should avoid it too ? Yes, you're damn right ! switch to whole grain bread because white bread is highly refined and often contains a lot of added sugar. One study of 9,267 people found that eating two slices (120 grams) of white bread per day was linked to a 40% greater risk of weight gain and obesity. So please, switch now to at least a whole grain bread, Even a slice of white bread will spoiled your journey to lose weight.

4. Candy Bars

I'm hungry, should grab something to fuel me up. Hmmm this 'Snickers' bars are damn good. I'm stressed out, need to grab a 'Cadbury' choc bar to make me happy again. This is what we usually do sometimes when we walk into '7 eleven' or 'Tesco' and see those yummy candy bars on the counter's shelf.

Candy bars are extremely unhealthy. They pack a lot of added sugar, added oils and refined flour into a small package. It is high in calories and low in nutrients. An average-sized candy bar covered in chocolate can contain around 200–300 calories, and extra-large bars may contain even more. If you are craving a snack like that, just eat a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts instead.

5.Most fruit juices

You are about to order an orange juice from your local Tom Yam restaurant because you think it is healthier than Milo Ais or Teh Ais. Well just don't do it ! you know what ? Fruit juices are highly processed and loaded with sugar even it is blended naturally but it is still added with sugar. Otherwise you won't even drink a sour and raw orange juice. So babes, please just stay away from fruit juice and eat a raw fruit instead.

6. Pastries, Cookies and Cakes

Well these includes all kinds of bread, buns, cakes, kuih raya, tarts, pie and anything alike. They are really good to eat isn't it ? those tasty tarts and bread that you picked up from pastry shop and put it in a tray and got so many because you liked them all. Well, again babes ! stay away from it ! Pastries, cookies and cakes are packed with unhealthy ingredients like added sugar and refined flour. 

They may also contain artificial trans-fat, which are very harmful and linked to many diseases. Pastries, cookies and cakes are not very satisfying, and you will likely become hungry very quickly after eating these high-calorie, low-nutrient foods. That's why you put so many of them in a tray when you walk into pastry store because one is not enough right ?

7. Ice Cream

Ice cream, another type of delicious and creamy food to eat in this hot Malaysian climate. Perfect for anybody from kids to adults we all love ice cream ! But not for you that is on your way to lose your weight. Ice cream is incredibly delicious, but very unhealthy. It is high in calories, and most types are loaded with sugar. But, can i just lick and taste it a bit ?

A small portion of ice cream is fine every now and then, but the problem is that it's very easy to consume massive amounts in one sitting. Also, serve yourself a small portion and put the ice cream away so that you won't end up eating too much.

8. Pizza

You and all your friends/family are so hungry, can't think of anything fast to share with many people and Pizza comes on your mind ! Pizza is a very popular fast food. However, commercially made pizzas also happen to be very unhealthy. So just hang in there, stop eating it on your way to lose weight !

They're extremely high in calories and often contain unhealthy ingredients like highly refined flour and processed meat. If you want to enjoy a slice of pizza, try making one at home using healthier ingredients. Homemade pizza sauce is also healthier, since supermarket varieties can contain lots of sugar. Another option is to look for a pizza place that makes healthier pizzas.

9.High-Calorie Coffee Drinks

Thinking about going to starbucks to have some of your best creamy top coffee ? well just forget about it ! Coffee contains several biologically active substances, most importantly caffeine. These chemicals can boost your metabolism and increase fat burning, at least in the short term. However, the negative effects of adding unhealthy ingredients like artificial cream and sugar outweigh these positive effects. High-calorie coffee drinks are actually no better than soda. They're loaded with empty calories that can equal a whole meal.

If you like coffee, it's best to stick to plain, black coffee when trying to lose weight. Adding a little cream or milk is fine too. Just avoid adding sugar, high-calorie creamers and other unhealthy ingredients
